11 song acoustic guitar/vocal CD: 10 original 1 cover - 2002 - writing began on 9/04/01 and commenced to go through 9/11 and the tragedy that insued was worked through on the song 'on top of the world'...this CD was an experiment in sound and kicked off the re-beginning of mC's life as a solo songwriter. Never before had he ever tried something so bare and naked after years working in German popcorn cover bands and this was the time for anything goes rock meets folk sound songs all with no tricks, or drums, bass or nothin'! Someone told me is an interesting ride with a beautiful cover/booklet with lyrics. LIMITED QUANTITY- German made Cover booklet with lyrics and pictures...

After 2 years of extensive touring with the extremely successful and lucrative "das Rex Richter Quintett" and "die Gebrueder Wurst" cover bands, singer Matt felt in his heart it was time to write original music again. All this practice and energy needed a creative outlet.

I had been in Germany 4 years at this point, the band LINE8 took a dive in late 1997 and it was time to move on. Drummer Ralf and bassist Tom from the local music scene's Surfin' Gods, GOD5 and das Rex Richter Quintett asked me if I would like to do some punk trash music and I said yes. Tom's WWW.OUT-O-SPACE.DE recording studio is a German legend and I wanted in the door. So we quickly rehearsed and recorded alot of songs and made this 15 track album.

This CD comprises of Matt Cutillo and 4 German musicians back in 1996-97 at the beginning of Matt's rebirth as a music-making traveleing institution. There was no mistake - the road was the destination at that time. Having left NY for Germany in 1994 and played in numerous projects and solo formations this was the first band Matt ever officially wrote for as a guitarist and singer.
