Matt played for our school's breakfast with Santa. He captured the attention of a room full of little children and kept them entertained for hours. His enthusiasm and talent were extraordinary, and his love for children shone through. Hey Matt, You know, it's common for people to toss out compliments to friends after seeing them play, regardless of whether those accolades are warranted or not. That's fine, it's the friendly thing to do. But I wouldn't be doing you any favors, had I engaged in that kind of friendly nonsense. Having said that, I have to tell you that I was thoroughly impressed (Thursday night at the Pisces Cafe). Your voice has developed to reveal real character, not to mention vocal proificiencey as well. Your songwriting has grown in leaps and bounds, and your performance was excellent. I'm seriously excited with the potential to re-kindle the magic we started years ago, with the added benefit of your growth as a musician, a songwriter, and a performer.
